OTTAWA — It truly was an unidentified flying object that darted across the night sky over the Ottawa River this week.
“There's nothing in the river for us to find in terms of an airplane or helicopter or something that went down (Monday) night,” Ottawa police Const. Alain Boucher said Tuesday afternoon.




“We're still looking into what could have caused this. There's a number of reasons this could have happened. We'll be looking into that in the next couple of days.”
Several residents, both in Ottawa and in Gatineau, Que., reported lights smashing into the water around 10 p.m. Monday, along with a thunderous boom.
The calls prompted police, firefighters, paramedics and a helicopter from CFB Trenton to scour the waters for a downed aircraft.
Problem was, there was no physical evidence pointing to a plane wreck: No debris, no oil slick and no indication from airspace authorities that something fell off the radar. There was also no report of a missing aircraft.
Still, searchers launched their boats on Tuesday morning looking for clues that could confirm witness accounts.
They found a few objects in the water, but nothing significant until around 1:30 p.m., when sonar discovered something bulky more than nine metres below the surface.
An underwater camera couldn't reach it and searchers called off the mission not knowing exactly what the object was.
“The size and the shape doesn't lead us to believe it's any piece of an airplane or fuselage or anything like that,” Boucher said. “It could be a rock, it could be a bunch of logs stuck together, it's hard to say.”
“No one has come forward with any kind of videos or anything like that at this time,” Boucher said. “None of the people actually reported seeing a plane go down at the same time.”

Dean Camen, the inventor of the Segway Scooter claimed that this could revolutionize transport as we know it. Well only for the skinny person! I bought two Segway scooters for me and my better 2/3's, my wife. We waited a few weeks for them to be shipped to my farm, as UPS seems to think that all of the items we buy on the Home Shopping Network are NOT of importance to expedite. UPS refuses to send anything overnight to my property. So before I got the scooters, I planned a vacation with me and my wife with the full intention of bringing my new scooters with us. We were going to Oklahoma City, Men's Fitness magazine's "Fattest City in America" ([...]). Of course we figured that the sidewalks would be wide enough for the scooters, as it is Americas fattest city! We also figured that my "Pudgy Love Bacon" (she loves when I speak sexy to her) would feel comfortable in the city, as others should be more understanding of her plight, considering they are all larger, statistically, then the rest of America. After getting the scooters shipped to me, I started the two day journey to lube up my wife to get her out of the house. Its a tough job, and requires more lube then a female wrestling match, some farm equipment and some heavy lights (She blocks the sun in certain positions). What I thought was that I would place the scooter right at the edge of the exit of the house, so that when she had enough force from being pulled by the tractor, she would be able to lift her legs to get up onto the scooter. It wasn't that we were going to ride the scooters all the way from my home to Oklahoma City, but I did pay thousands for the things, and I wanted to make sure it worked for her, before I could return them in the 30 day period they allow you to return them in. So after some major work, we got my "Grizzle Eater" on the Segway. The first issue was that only one of her legs fully fit on the thing. The platform was not wide enough. Then I thought I would just place my second Segway behind her, and she could place her second leg on it, but before I was able to bring the second Segway around the first one buckled and broke apart. The salesman didn't mention that there were weight restrictions and when I tried to take the thing back, Segway wouldn't take the scooter back. My better 2/3's was pissed, and after it took another 2 days to get her back in the house, she refused to leave and we didn't go on vacation. Segway Scooters you screwed up my marriage, and my vacation!!!

Witness Statement: Whilst driving back from Witney towards Aston with friends. We noticed a large white light in the sky, rather like a search light or laser being shone into the sky but there was no beam of light. The light seemed to move rapidly across the sky and seemed to be sitting above the cloud. It move from side to side, backward and forward and sometimes coming overhead. When it appeared overhead the light would spread. It seemed to be darting between Aston, Bampton and Brize. We watched the light for sometime and was able to watch it from my bedroom window. It could not have been a plane or helicopter because of its rapid movement and the way it darted back and forth.

pyramid shaped UFOs over Spain & Japan in March of 2010 UFO Sighting

Over the last year or so hundreds of people around the world have been witness to what appears to be a new type of UFO (see video clips below). Enormous pyramid shaped UFOs have been seen from Colombia to China, from Russia to France.

UFO experts have debated as to whether these are the craft of an extraterrestrial race that has just chanced upon earth and its humanoid inhabitants-or are these the spaceships of a civilization that has interacted with humanity for millennia, inspiring the building of ancient pyramid structures from Egypt to Central America.

Cynical commentators have suggested that all of these images might simply be computer generated graphics, which is understandable since comuters have advanced so much in the last five years.

UFO sighting caught on video over China university in March 2010

Daylight UFO footage from China amazes experts with a video.

Below is a close up of the UFO.




An incredible UFO sighting was allegedly filmed (see video clip below) earlier this month in China during daylight hours. It is claimed that the UFO was seen by many witnesses.

the event took place above the grounds of Wan Li University in the port city of Ningbo, which is located in the province of Zhejiang.




Students were shocked to discover a classically shaped metallic, spinning UFO or flying saucer hovering above the campus ground. One excited witness managed to film the event. The UFO is seen zooming off at a super-fast speed towards at the end of the footage.

Now the debate is on amongst China's UFO experts as to whether this is a hoax involving computer graphics or a genuine encounter with a craft of extraterrestrial origin.

UFOs are commonly seen in China and the last few days has seen a massive spike in such sightings.

Triangle UFO seen over water in Florida last week March 22, 2010

Two Florida witnesses report watching a triangle-shaped UFO with red lights land on the water near Miami on March 22, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.




The photo is posted here, although it's not very clear. The witness states that the UFO shut off its lights as a boat passed nearby, but then turned them back on and eventually disappeared from view.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Florida MUFON State Director G. Bland Pugh investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update.

as my friend (pilot and works for spirit airlines) and i were looking up at the downtown Miami skyline i noticed a small flying object in the sky.

it was a triangular shape with red lights.

it moved slowly and descended down onto the water it landed. it was close enough for me to recognize that it wasn't a plane and it made no noise.

it drifted to the right and stopped for a few minutes. i noticed a small boat that passed by it and the ufo's light shut off and after the boat passed it turned back on. then the ufo drifted to the left about a mile then the lights went off again and it disappeared from my sight..

Central Coast in NSW, are the states biggest hot spot when it comes to UFO sightings

UFO Research NSW secretary Joann Kanda helps organise the meetings to discuss their mysterious sightings.

THERE'S something strange happening in the skies over a little patch of our pristine holiday coast.

The suburbs around Gosford, on the Central Coast in NSW, are the state's biggest hot spot when it comes to UFO sightings, with dozens of seemingly authentic cases reported every year, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Each month, as many as 30 people turn up to meetings to share their UFO experiences.

UFO Research NSW secretary Joann Kanda, who helps organise the meetings, saw what she believed was a UFO near her home at The Entrance in the mid-1990s.

"It was just a sort of a glowing light in the middle of the night," she said.

"The dogs made a strange noise and I got up. There was something up in the sky with a greenish glow."

The region was the scene for one of Australia's most baffling UFO cases - a series of sightings in 1995 and 1996 - that were reported by police and many other credible witnesses.

Residents have told of seeing shiny, spherical, illuminated UFOs that often hovered above water.

UFO Research NSW's Doug Moffett said UFOs were commonly spotted over water or near power plants and the Central Coast had plenty of both.

The geography of the Central Coast may also play a part. It is heavily populated in parts, which means there are people around to spot UFOs, but still isolated enough for them to be visible in the night sky.

"What UFOs do is, largely speaking, covert in nature. They're obviously not landing at the steps of the Opera House and saying, 'Take me to your leader'," Mr Moffett said.

The UFO and Paranormal Research Society of NSW said the Blue Mountains also figured heavily in UFO sighting reports.




A group of enthusiasts spent the weekend in the mountains searching for UFOs they say visit the area each year in the last week of March.

One of the group, who declined to be named, said that in past years the craft had appeared above the Burragorang Valley, beyond Jenolan Caves, and were seen to hover for some time.

Several readers have reported seeing UFOs near Wollongong a week ago.

One said that about 8.15pm last Sunday, a trio of orange lights appeared overhead grouped in a triangular formation and moved silently through the air.

"There were probably another four in a straight line from Stanwell Park directly over our place," he said.

THIS picture of
mysterious object in the sky is baffling UFO experts.
The strange flying disc was caught on camera zooming silently across the sunset.
Fiona Hartigan spotted curious craft when she stopped to take pictures of the evening sky in Sydney, and now the image has sparked a flurry of speculation.




But the mum-of-two is convinced she saw a UFO.
"As I was about to take the picture this black object appeared and then it started to move," she said.
"It started off about 800m away but it came closer - to about 400m - and then two other little round things appeared from this bright orange light above.
"There was no noise. It was calm and peaceful but it was very weird."
Ms Hartigan said the main UFO suddenly shot off while the smaller UFOs zipped away in the opposite direction.
"I don't know how to explain it - I'm still totally bewildered," she said.
Some doubters have said flying object is simply a speck of dust on the camera lens, but Doug Moffett from UFO Research in New South Wales the were 1,000 and 1,500 UFO sightings in Australia every year.

"It could be some electrical anomaly that no one has ever seen, it could be an extra-terrestrial craft, it could be something else," he added.
"There does appear to be a blur around the image, which could just be the way it's shaped, or - and this is pure speculation - it could be due to its propulsion system.
"Whatever the case, it's an opportunity to learn something new.
"Why would anyone make these stories up? They are setting themselves up for ridicule," he said.

Greek journalist of “Daily Telegraph” saw… UFO in Mykonos! March 2010 UFO Sighting

FIRST a woman photographed strange flying discs descending on a busy Sydney street – now Daily Telegraph Online reporter Dora Tsavdaridis (foto) has told how she spotted a UFO while on a beach holiday.
Mother-of-two Fiona Hartigan captured the imagination of the nation after sunset snaps taken in Chipping North on Sunday were printed in the Daily Telegraph today.
“As I was about to take the picture this black object appeared and then it started to move,” she said.
“It started off about 800m away but it came closer – to about 400m – and then two other little round things appeared from this bright orange light above.
“There was no noise. It was calm and peaceful but it was very weird.”
And she’s not alone. Ms Tsavdaridis says she will never forget her own close encounter on the Greek island of Mykonos.
Blogging with the DT Online she said: “It was about the size of a star and it looked like it was far away. At first I thought maybe it was a plane, but there were no blinking lights, just this one red light. Plus, it was too far away to be a plane.
“It definitely wasn’t a bird or Superman either.
“The sky and the area around us was so dark, the red spot was very clear as it travelled horizontally across the sky for about three minutes and then disappeared.
“We were all blown away by it, we stood there for a few minutes trying to grasp what we saw.
“At the time we thought it was most likely a comet or something similar but after looking into it, there were no reported comets that were visible to the human eye on that date. Plus I’ve seen a comet and they usually have a tail of some sort – this definitely didn’t.”

Japan UFO Sighting of orbs around cloud

An astonishing piece of footage showing what might be a 'mothership' UFO releasing orbs or smaller UFOs was filmed by a witness to the event in Japan.

This UFO sighting took place earlier this month and the footage has been posted on the Internet in the last few days.

Nothing is known of the identity of the witness nor the exact location of the event beyond the country it occurred in.

Early last year footage of a similar event, this one occurring in Mexico and publicised by world renown Mexican ufologist Jaime Maussan, made big news across the many UFO related websites on the Internet.

Japan has a long history of UFO sightings. The wife of that nation's current Prime Minister claims to have been abducted by aliens who took her on trip in a spaceship to the planet Venus.
One of the world's most credible UFO sightings was made by the pilots and crew of a Japan Airlines flight over Alaska. All News Web has been informed that the UFO they encountered is said to have hailed from the galaxy of Andromeda and a civilization that is secretly engaging humanity known as the 'Axthadans'.

Tajik boy captures UFO on mobile phone camera


A Tajik teenager quickly became a local hero after he had shown a 50-second footage of a "flying saucer" captured with a built-in camera on his mobile phone.
Dozens of residents of Khujand in northern Tajikistan have reported sightings of an unidentified flying object over the city on March 22, but only Bakhtovar Khurshedzod, a 9th grade school student, was smart enough to film the unusual event.
According to the teenager, he was playing with his younger brother in the yard when a strange object appeared in the sky, flying soundlessly.
"It [the UFO] was red and it was surrounded by white light...It was moving slowly toward the mountains, then suddenly accelerated and disappeared...It was not a kite or a plane, that's for sure," the Asia-Plus news agency quoted the schoolboy as saying.
Local air traffic authorities denied registering any UFOs over the city on that day, but admitted that "radars at the local airport are switched on only when it is necessary."
Local residents claim that it was not the first UFO sighting in the area. A similar object appeared over the city in late 1990s but nobody was able to produce "hard evidence" of the event at that time.
Khujand is the second-largest city of Tajikistan with a population of about 149,000. It is situated on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley.
